We share many members and have for years. I have always considered The Mighty Righty (MR) a friend of this site and the admin of that site, Harv, and I have talked often.

Harv has made the difficult decision to, as he puts it, 'turn out the lights' at least for a while at The Mighty Righty.

As a result, some of the members of MR may make their way over here to join us. Please join me in welcoming them and making them feel at home. While I have no illusion or intention to believe this will be a replacement for what they have come to know and love at MR, it is certainly a place they can come when and if they choose.

Harv and I will continue to talk. Harv brings a considerable amount of technical knowledge regarding how to maintain, patch, and update these sort of sites and he has been gracious enough to offer (at my request) to help out in that capacity as much as he can. There are other great members at MR and I expect their contributions here to a great asset to everyone.

I welcome each of them and expect they will be treated like the old and new friends they are.

Yes! Welcome, Mighty Righty members. We will enjoy having you here.

And as our own special welcome to you, I offer some FREE TheAmericanRight.com bookmarks.

People are reading a lot these days. Thank goodness that self-education has become popular. Many of us here on TAR have been exchanging thoughts on books that will help us to understand the situation our country is in. So.....the idea for bookmarks was born.

IHL designed them himself. And they look great! Keep a couple for yourself, and pass out a couple for potential TAR members. Let's see how many people we can bring on board with saving America from the grips of liberalism!

PM me if you want the bookmarks. They are 100% free and your information is 100% confidential (just ask the TAR people who participated in the 2008 b-day bash....their info was deleted after shipping.).

Here is the bookmark:

Next time I brew a batch I'll send you a few pints off the top (very little sediment) :)

I still need to figure out the whole sediment thing. I always get sediment once it's bottle conditioned......nothing to bad except once I inadvertently drank some......boy did I get the shits something fierce.......

I've done both, and had better, and worse, luck with DME. I get reliable results with LME, but it doesn't feel like I really "made" it. I like a strong hop finish, so I've based my variances there. With the exception of maybe 10 times, I've purchased LME and hopped it experimentally.

Lot's of vitamin B :) I have a neighbor who brews and winds up with nearly no sediment - I think he racks a couple times though. I think commercial brewers sell it to mix with cow feed.

I'm not a police moderator - I'll be helping with site issues as I can. I'm a TAR noob and you may treat me as such.

You touch on a good point RRLW and one that is of no little concern to me and to Harv. I think I'll post a seperate thread on this, but let us not foget, Harv is far from a newbie. And I know you are sort of kidding about this but it is something Harv and I discussed a bit.

I'll touch more on this topic a bit later.

Why did you shut down The Mighty Righty?

Harv,

Why did you shut down The Mighty Righty?

Time. Money. Political apathy. Site use, site abuse, site stagnance, personal failure *shrug* call it what you will.

I'm giving up the admin game, that's all. It's a job, to be sure. Appreciate IHL - it is a bit of work.
