I'm afraid we might be in trouble after all. Since the day Howard Dean was appointed the head of the DNC, I've been pretty excited. As I've mentioned in other articles (http://www.ihateliberals.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=1018), I think Howard Dean is a left wing nut job and every time he opens his cavernous mouth he gains more votes for the Republicans.

The bad news is that it looks like some of the other Democrats have been visiting this site and have come to their senses regarding Dean. I've let our secret weapon, Howard Dean, out of the proverbial bag. It seems Joseph Biden and John "The Breck Girl" Edwards have broken the love fest with Howard Dean (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/05/AR2005060500462_pf.html). (And no, I don't really think Biden and Edwards have ever visited this site.)

Howard Dean obviously can't control his contempt for anyone but the fringe voters as demonstrated by his comments towards Republicans on the topic standing in long voting lines when Dean said, "Republicans, I guess, can do that because a lot of them have never made an honest living in their lives." In a half-hearted and pathetic attempt at damage control, Dean said his comments did not refer to hard-working Americans but to the Republican leadership. Yeah, right Howard. And Hillary Clinton is a centrist too.

So, are the liberals getting smarter? Is Dean on his way out? This could be fun to watch.

I always gave Dean the benefit of the doubt, but my sources says Dean will only last until the half way point until the next election. So '06 he will get booted or leave on his own half.

OH goodie!! This could be fun to watch.

You ever gone to town with the chidren and have one that because he/she did not get a candy bar or something they wanted they would lie on the floor and throw a fit and ruin the trip for everyone?

I could see Dean doing that. As mentioned in previous post I believe Dean is there to gaurd the "left flank" if you will. But it seems he is not bringing in the money and is setting new standards in looking stupid. So give ol' Dean the ax! I want to see him lead the left wing nuts to the socialist party or some other organization. Break out the popcorn and watch, could be entertaining.

BTW didn't I hear something awile back about a division in the conservative party? --AAK

I didn't look down on Dean when he made his psycho scream because I felt he simply got caught up in the moment. I never thought he would become head of the DNC. I always viewed him as a weak candidate with a big ego. Pretty much since the election every word that has come out of his mouth has pissed me off. I'm glad to see a lot of the left turning on him.

Screaming Dean is the best thing that has happened to us. I can only hope that of the more conservative democrats (Joe Lieberman) jump to our side before the damage is done. I don't think that the democrats are going to replace Dean though as long as money flows in from people like George Soros and Michael Moore. They will mistake that as a sign that things are going well in their party, and they will continue to live in their little world or theories.

More from Dean (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8142785/)

Dean said of the GOP that it is the "Christian Party". And added that it is "pretty much a white, Christian party". Dean said he is a white Christian too but his problem with the GOP is that it isn't as diverse as his Democratic party is. He went on to say that attacks from Republicans are attempts to divert attention from the nation's real problems.

“This is a diversion from the issues that really matter: Social Security, and adequate job opportunity, strong public schools, a strong defense,” Dean said.

I have to say, "What did you expect?" You rip on the party's Christian values, which pretty much won the presidential election for them, and you also say that no Republican has ever made an "honest living". You are going to get responses or attacks. So it's all spin to say that this is a diversion from the nation's real problems. While this may be a good attempt to gain more support for your party, Dean, how can you sit there and try to stop people from challenging your view? If the remarks you made aren't off-the-cuff remarks, than you should be able to defend what you say? This means there's no reason to stop Republicans from responding by saying they are diverting attention from the nation's real problems.

I think that the Republican party is primarily a white, Christian party. That is a common stereotype of the party. It is so, I believe, primarily because of the Religious right or the conservative Christians in the party. Bill Frist makes it look like a white, Christian party when he holds "Justice Sunday" too. I do not think God is a Republican or a Democrat. But I do know that some Republicans will make the case that they are better followers of God than Democrats like it's a competition.

For the "honest living" part, there is no way to defend that. That remark is very moronic. Now, if he wants to be specific as he has been and tell Americans what Republicans exactly aren't earning "honest living[s]", that isn't moronic because then people can judge. But to stereotype the party or attempt to stereotype it as one that has very few who earn honest livings is incredibly low. Dean should stick with the "DeLay should be in jail" mantra. At least then he can cite reasons why and people can credit or discredit what he says. There's no way his "honest living" can be credible because it is so broad and lucrative.

Your right about the money, and George Soros is pouring in money to moveon.org where they love Howard Dean.
I was into one of their liberal sites and they were saying that we're making a big stink over Dean because he is shaking things up the way a Democrat is supposed to. It's just too funny. :icon_bigg
