If there is one thing that I've repeated constantly on this site, it is the fact that the liberals in power will do whatever they want regardless of what people want, regardless of the facts, and completely without regard for what is right.

Let's look at a few examples. The health care debate is a great example. The Obama administration, especially Nancy Pelosi, has told us time and time again how open and transparent the administration will be. They said they want bipartisanship. They said they want the people to know exactly what is going on. Obama was going to be the guy who would end the fighting, the bickering, racism, terrorism. He was going to fix everything. If they could have gotten away with it, their health care destruction plan would have already been in place. It is why they pushed so hard to pass it months ago. The fact is, people don't want it. In fact, support for the plan has fallen to just 38% (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/september_2009/health_care_reform). And this is even without this administration being honest and up front about what is in it. I said months ago that as the people get to see the plan, they will hate it. This has proven to be true. Unfortunately it doesn't matter. The liberals are still trying to force it down our throats. Not surprisingly, none of them will be on the plan.

Transparency? As I mentioned in a previous post, The Madam refused to live up to her promise (http://www.weeklystandard.com/weblogs/TWSFP/2009/11/pelosi_breaks_pledge_to_put_he.asp) to make the bill available for people to see. So, does 38% support seem like it is best for Americans? I guess it does if you want to control their lives. Remember, that is the endgame in this so-called health care plan.

Speaking of scams... how about that global warming, huh? I think I've written more about this scam than any other. In fact, I remember when I started this site, it was one of the first things I posted (http://www.theamericanright.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4487). It has always boggled my mind how anyone with any sense at all can truly believe that global warming exists when there is simply no credible evidence to support it. Sure, there is Al Gore. A man who has become rich beyond his imagination pushing this fallacy. I guess if you don't allow debate (http://www.climatedepot.com/a/429/Report-Democrats-Refuse-to-Allow-Skeptic-to-Testify-Alongside-Gore-At-Congressional-Hearing), create a movie full of lies (http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/monckton/goreerrors.html), and hand pick the 'facts' (that latter prove to also be lies), you can convince some people of anything. But the most beautiful thing? The thing that just makes me laugh out loud is the recent discovery that these 'scientists' have knowingly been creating this fraud. I'm not surprised mind you, I just think it is great that someone finally had the guts to expose it (http://www.theamericanright.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11026). But even after all of that, many of the lemmings will still blindly follow along. As for the alleged scientists, they are just following the money. And believe me, there is TONS of money in this global warming scam if you are willing to sell your soul to get it. And we all know that the likes of Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi have done that years ago.

Hey, how about that unemployment rate? "Officially", it's a little over 10%. But according to CNBC, it's over 17% (http://www.cnbc.com/id/34040009). This from an administration that told us back in January that if we supported his 'stimulus plan', the unemployment rate would not exceed 7%. Oh, and he also pledged to create 3.5 million jobs by 2010 (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/09/rising-unemployment-rate-undermines-obamas-goal-create-m-jobs/). I guess one way to make things look good is to lie about that and cook the books to make you look good (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/jobs-saved-created-congressional-districts-exist/story?id=9097853). This administration has said that over 600,000 jobs have been created because of their stimulus plan. They haven't. But this administration isn't used to having it's facts checked.

Believe me, I could go on and on. It is one lie after another. It is a total disregard for the American people and what they want. This is about power and control.

As it get's more and more difficult to blame Bush, the American people may be starting to see that Obama and his administration truly don't have a clue.

Whether it is lies about global warming, the economy, jobs, health care, it doesn't matter. These people will push through whatever they can get away with.

The good news - Obama's poll numbers continue to plummet (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll). Meanwhile, Sarah Palin's numbers continue to improve (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/11/not-that-it-matters-politically-because-shes-a-republican-idiot-and-hes-a-democrat-geniusbut-sarah-palins-poll-numbers-are-c.html).

You know what we really need now? Change.

The ever brilliant Big Dog wraps it all up in one neat Headline and sticks a big red bow on top.

Classic. I love it.
:clap1:

Hey, if I ever have the chance to meet IHL in person, I may even bow. I hear it's the in-thing these days.

TAR Pals ... we really need to tell more people about our great little site. Share the love!

That was great, IHL. Nothing more needs to be added to that one.

What? No replies from our resident and lurking lib's? No challenges to the claims of the Big Dog?

You fail, liberals. That is the reason why some of you left and no longer post here. You cannot stand against facts. You can only stand FOR the cult of personality.

Liberals: All style and no substance. Also, IHL's post is perfect.

Very well put. That just made my hole day. It ias just great to wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee and read a post that is exactly what you think and put in a better way then you could do yourself. I try to explain these things to people but it hard when they use those polar bears. j/k

Beautifully stated IHL. I sometimes feel just hopeless, because our government is not only heading 100 mph in the wrong direction, but is in fact BRAGGING about it. Combine that with a population to apathetic, or fearful, or hopeless enough to change it, and we're basically turning into Europe. My view for this country, a view many of us share, is one of a stronger America. However, this view seems to be in stark contrast to reality itself.

I pray that someday soon, we will arrest our momentum toward statism and will return to the path of progress. It has been done before, but not until after the country in question has been driven into serfdom.

Just had to pop in real quick and read this again. The best part is what can be added to it now that some months have passed.
