FDM while initially it looks like the Republicans have been the bigger culprits, as I pointed out earlier, Democrats are equally guilty. I'll be posting some things about Clinton later on.
I understand you thinking showing loyality to the flag or the U.S. seems to endorse these kinds of things, but actually, by showing your loyality to the intent of the Republic (including the flag and Constitution) and voicing your objection to behind the scenes activity, is what stops it.
I'm sure the overwhelming majority of Americans, liberals and conservatives alike, would be outraged if they were made aware of whats actually happening. Learning about it, having to face the truth, calls for a massive paradigm shift.

It would take more than a paradigm shift Wadi, it will take a revolution......again.
And I shudder at the thought of that.

I hear that.
Thing is, I left Africa to get away from that crap, and I wanted to raise a kid or three somewhere away from that crap too.
One hopes it won't be as bloody as the African 'revolutions' (read coup de'tat) are.

Okay in #1 I talked about how the US financed Saddam’s WMD program and Russia provided the expertise.
But what about the Democrats?
At a “Town Meeting on Iraq” held at Ohio State University, Madeleine Albright insisted “The United States did not create this problem. Saddam Hussein created the problem” That provides good sound bite if you don’t know what’s been going on. But Albright represents a foreign policy group that was fully behind the US financing Saddam. Why then the lie? Did she not know? That’s naïve, of course she knew. And so did National Security Advisor Sandy Berger and Sec. of Defense William Cohen who were also in attendance.
In the September 16, 1996 issue of Newsweek, Fareed Zakaria admitted that “If Saddam Hussein didn’t exist, we would have to invent him.” According to Zakaria who edits Foreign Affairs the flagship journal for the Council on Foreign Relations, Saddam is “the linchpin of U.S. policy in the Middle East” The end of Saddam “would be the end of the anti-Saddam coalition, as nothing destroys an alliance like the disappearance of the enemy” Alliances are created to deal with enemies, but create enemies to justify the creation of an alliance?
At the “Town Meeting” Albright insisted that “Saddam Hussein, unlike any other leader, has used weapons for mass destruction even against his own people. In fact he is a repeat offender.” She further stated that he had used WMD ten times since 1983.
During the entire meeting, one crucial fact remained undisclosed to the casual observer….. Saddam’s acquiring WMD were during a time he was supported by the U.S. foreign policy establishment. And even though the Clinton Administration professed agitation over Saddam’s Chemical and Biological warfare capabilities, the Clinton Administration was tightlipped about Russia’s role in helping Saddam develop and maintain that capacity. Why?
The Washington Post reported on Feb. 12 that the UN had discovered documentary evidence of a 1995 agreement by Russia to sell Iraq “dual-use” technology. When asked about the report, Albright replied “Russia has been working to strengthen its export controls” Where is the outrage?? In fact an Administration official criticized Newsweek for using the “flimsiest” piece of evidence.
Why did the Clinton Administration run damage control for Russia? Where is the outrage against a Republican administration that provided funds for weaponry and machinery. Where is the outrage against other countries furnishing scientific expertise to create these lethal weapons?
In 1995 the Clinton Administration produced a “final report” on what I reported in #1 (although for the sake of time and space I have only told you a part of the story). The events in #1 became known as “Irangate”. Basically the report was a whitewash that implicated no one. There were some businesses right in the middle of everything and they came out squeaky clean. One was a French multinational chemicals concern called Lafarge. Guess what, Hillary had joined the Lafarge board in 1990.
Of even grater significance though is that since 1921, the Council on Foreign Relations has dictated our foreign policy. One body of like mind, has had and currently have, members in every administration. It doesn’t matter who is President or which party is “in power”, all decisions first come from a private, unelected body.

Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
I would like to know how you can insult the people fighting for our freedom by calling them bastards. I would call you unamerican, but you probably get that enough as it is. Ahhhh what the hell...

Actually, General Patton did make that statement. He also happened to be one of our best generals. But if he said those words today, they would probably through him out of the army. Generals like him helped win wars.
